Job summary

A leading company engaged in offshore and onshore project management in the oil and gas industry is seeking a qualified Procurement Officer. In this role, you will manage contracts, provide legal compliance advice, and ensure procurement processes align with policies. Candidates should have a Degree in Law or related fields and at least 3 years of experience, demonstrating strong contract and procurement knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years work experience in a legal firm or in-house legal department.
• Good understanding of contract law, procurement laws, and business regulations.
• Possession of CLP is a plus.

Job description

· To review and manage contracts to ensure legal compliance.

· To provide legal advice and guidance on procurement contracts and vendor relationships.

· Drafting and review of supplier contracts.

· To ensure procurement processes follow legal and internal policies.

· Managing vendor relationships and contract renewals.

· To maintain contract records and ensure proper documentation.

· To work with internal teams to ensure procurement activities align with legal requirements.

· To prepare reports on legal risks, compliance, and contract status.

· Any other ad-hoc tasks related to the post as per management’s requirements.

Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

· Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a legal firm or in-house legal department.

· Good understanding of contract law, procurement laws, and business regulations.

· Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Detail-oriented and organized.

· Possession of CLP is a plus.
