The role involves managing files, drafting legal documents, and liaising with various stakeholders to facilitate transactions. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Law, up to 5 years of related experience, and strong knowledge of conveyancing law in Malaysia. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 0-5 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk or related legal support role.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and procedures in Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Conveyancing Lawyers in managing files and drafting legal documents.
  • Liaise with clients, banks, and government agencies to facilitate transactions.
  • Prepare and review legal documentation such as Sale and Purchase Agreements.

Job description

ASCO Law is seeking a highly skilled and motivatedConveyancing Clerkto join our team inJohor Bahru. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our Conveyancing Lawyers in a range of real estate practice areas, including Tenancy, Lease, Sale and Purchase Agreement (Developer and Consumer), Financing Agreement, Transfer of Title, Title Replacement, and more.

Responsibilities:

·Assist Conveyancing Lawyers in managing files, drafting legal documents, and conducting legal research

·Liaise with clients, banks, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate transactions

·Manage and maintain file records, ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines

·Prepare and review legal documentation such as Sale and Purchase Agreements, Financing Agreements, and other legal documents

·Handle post-completion procedures, including registration of titles and charges, transfer of utilities, and payments of duties and fees

·Provide legal advisory to clients and other stakeholders

Requirements:

·Diploma or degree in Law or related field

·At least 0-5 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk or related legal support role

·Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and procedures in Malaysia

·Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software programs

·Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

·Good time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
