A leading business support firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Legal Support Assistant with strong communication skills and legal knowledge. The role involves drafting documents, client communication, and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent legal experience and be fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Provide support to the team and responsible for casework.
- Draft online application forms and standard cover letters.
- Communicating with existing and prospective clients to obtain relevant supporting documents.
- Preparing for client meetings.
- Updating the team on all communications.
- Maintain files and records are up to date.
- Administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, attending phone calls and diary management, when required.
- Assisting with marketing materials.
- Any other tasks as instructed by fee earners from time to time.
Who we're looking for (skills, qualifications and experience)
● Educated at Bachelors degree level; or have experience as a Legal Clerk at a law firm in Malaysia.
● Ability to speak and write English at business level.
● Ability to speak and write Mandarin Chinese at business level.
● Work under pressure and work remotely with the team.
● Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English and Chinese.
