About the role

Jasdev Chambers is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join our dynamic team in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time member of our Litigation & Intellectual Property practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional legal services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting senior lawyers in all aspects of litigation and intellectual property cases, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for court appearances.
2. Collaborating with the team to develop litigation strategies and negotiate settlements.
3. Maintaining detailed case files and ensuring timely communication with clients.
4. Providing support, such as organising documents and coordinating with external parties.
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest legal developments and industry trends.

What we're looking for

• A law degree or equivalent qualification, with a strong academic background.
• At least 5 years of experience in a legal environment, preferably in litigation or intellectual property law.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts.
