Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a dynamic Legal Manager to handle corporate legal work. This role requires a law degree from a reputable UK institution and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Malaysian Bar qualification is a plus.

Assist in drafting and reviewing various trading contracts with minimal guidance. Identify legal issues and propose solutions independently.

Support statutory compliance for local and branch companies by working with relevant departments.

Help the Division Head to implement corporate governance and compliance policies while learning industry standards.

Assist in delivering basic compliance training with HR and other departments.

Collaborate with legal teams in HQ and Regional Office to ensure legal standards and apply knowledge practically.

Support management by monitoring legal changes and contributing to related research and reports.

Requirement:

Degree in Law from a reputable UK law school

At least 4 years of post-qualified experience in corporate legal work at a law firm or related industry

Experience with contracts in various trading sectors. Strong skills in contract drafting

Commercially focused and solution-oriented. Experience in export, offshore, or import sectors preferred

Malaysian Bar qualification is a plus, but not mandatory

Ethical, mature, confident, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills
