Role Overview
The Legal Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the legal department by ensuring the highest level of protection for the company’s legal interests. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Handle the registration, monitoring, and management of trademarks, including conducting preliminary searches and filing applications.
- Ensure timely renewals and responses to trademark office actions, maintaining the company’s trademark portfolio.
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices to support the legal team’s work on contracts, IP, and copyright matters.
- Support case development by maintaining communication with involved parties, scheduling depositions, preparing legal documents (summonses, subpoenas, complaints), handling discovery requests and responses, and generating status reports.
- Ensure all legal records are kept up to date and filed correctly, both physically and digitally.
Qualifications
- At least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Law or equivalent.
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property, and copyright protection.
- Working experience in law firms will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working hour: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
