A legal firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Legal Support Executive to assist with documentation, filing, and communication tasks. Responsibilities
- Working with lawyers and secretaries in preparing legal documentation for filing and execution purposes.
- Assist the lawyers in managing documentation and filing deadlines (including monitoring status and follow ups).
- Assist in preparing draft letters and email correspondences to be sent to the government departments and where appropriate, clients and counter-parties.
- Assist the lawyers in liaisons with clients and counter-parties for filings and submissions.
- Scheduling appointments for the execution of documents.
- Liaising with and making enquiries with the various government departments and regulatory authority.
- Attending to adjudication and stamping of agreements, forms, instruments and deeds.
- Attending to the filling of tax documents and simple return forms for legal and tax matters.
- Assist lawyers to prepare status reports (including chronology of events) for legal matters.
- Maintains all files in appropriate repository.
- Working in compliance with Firm policies and compliance standards.

- For this role, you are required to have a thorough understanding and experience in using MS Office, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; if you have skills in accounting and data entry – that would be a plus but such skills are strictly not necessary;
