Job summary

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned engineer to manage the full life cycle of LED products, with or without built‑in ICs. The role focuses on yield data analysis, target setting and cross‑functional collaboration with Process Engineering, Chip Change and Production teams.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in LED manufacturing or semiconductors, with experience in product engineering or characterization.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in LED manufacturing or semiconductors.
Experience in product engineering, development or characterization in LED manufacturing is preferred.
IC knowledge is an advantage and beneficial for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Manage product life cycle for LED products, with or without built‑in ICs.
Lead yield data analysis, target setting and forecasting; coordinate with Process Engineering, Chip Change and Production teams on yield improvements.
Update and revise product BOMs, setup new products, and support PFMEA and product change projects.
Coordinate reliability submissions and monitor static/distribution changes; support quality and traceability across materials and processes.
