Job summary

MILA University in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, invites applications for teaching positions in the School of Education at Lecturer/Senior Lecturer levels (TESL, Education Leadership, Early Childhood Education). The appointee will contribute to curriculum development, deliver innovative teaching and assessment, pursue active research with Scopus-indexed publications, and collaborate with partners to elevate educational impact.

Administrative duties and mentorship are expected.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred in related field (TESL / Educational Leadership & Management / Early Childhood Education).
• Candidates with teaching experience and research / project consultation / industry experience are preferred.
• Strong knowledge in teaching diverse courses in the related field.
• Active with scholarly activities in Scopus indexed peer-reviewed journal publications (h-index ≥3) is an advantage.
• Familiar with MQA documentation for computing and accreditation processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to curriculum development, innovation, enhancement, and quality assurance in the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
• Develop and deliver innovative and excellent teaching, learning and assessment experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conduct active research, maintaining an active record of high-quality Scopus indexed publications, conference presentations and grants.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a research strategy aligned with priorities.
• Contribute to collaborations with other universities and with government, industry and/or society to drive research impact and educational excellence.
• Contribute to the management of education, research and/or administration in the school, including coaching, mentorship, leadership and effective performance management.
• Contribute to the administration tasks of the school/department.
