Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, TESL, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related discipline.
• Candidates without this background may still be considered if they can demonstrate strong teaching experience.
• PhD in TESL or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in English language skills, linguistics, second language acquisition, and language pedagogy.
• Guide students through micro-teaching, practicum and classroom-based projects.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Teach courses in English language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking), linguistics, second language acquisition, and language pedagogy

• Stay current with emerging trends in TESL/ESL, applied linguistics, and innovative language teaching methods
• Incorporate technology and interactive approaches into language teaching and assessment
• Develop and refine course materials that reflect best practices in language education
• Supervise student projects and support students in preparing to teach English as a second language
• Build and maintain partnerships with schools and language centers to create practicum and internship opportunities for students
• Contribute to curriculum development, research initiatives, and the promotion of innovative teaching practices within the department
