Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Review, update, and develop lesson plans, schemes of work, lectures/practical sessions, tutorials, assignments, and facilitate class discussions in accordance with the syllabus and curriculum.
2. Conduct lectures, tutorials, discussions, workshops, consultancy, and other activities to facilitate student learning.
3. Contribute to the development of new academic programs and provide ideas, suggestions, proposals, and recommendations to improve the operations, management, and profitability of the School/Faculty and University.
4. Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
5. Monitor and report on student progress regarding academic performance and attendance.
6. Participate in the development, administration, and grading of exams and assessments.
7. Provide academic counselling and pastoral care to students.
8. Participate in Faculty and University activities as required.
9. Engage in research and publish findings through research papers or patents.
10. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to achieve targeted student enrollment, including organizing seminars, open days, and program previews.

Requirements

• Possess a Doctorate (PhD) in a related specialization and a basic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Sciences, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
• Knowledge of Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or Data Sciences is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in the related field; program coordination experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
