Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • To teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses delivered by the Department.
  • To supervise student projects and assist them in understanding assignment requirements.
  • To design and execute formative and summative assessment including marking that is aligned with student learning outcomes.
  • To provide feedback to students on their learning through student consultations.
  • To ensure programmes are in compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards.
  • To maintain strong partnership with foreign university partners to support programme delivery and collaboration.
  • To conduct research in areas as per discussion with Head of Department.
  • To publish papers and present papers at local and international conferences.
  • Other duties within the Department as required.
Preferred Qualification, Experience and Job Competencies

Minimum Academic Qualification

  • Candidates must possess at least Master or Doctorate in Law from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or Bar (Malaysia or equivalent jurisdiction) is highly desirable.

Experience

  • At least 5-7 years teaching at university level.
  • Experience with corporate law and cyber law is an advantage.
