Lecturer for Diploma in Hotel Management

DSH Institute of Technology (in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur) has been in the education industry for over 30 years and offers a range of in-demand programmes with a focus on employability. The college is looking for Lecturers to teach Diploma in Hotel Management and Diploma in Tourism Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel, Tourism, or Hospitality Management.
• Two to three years of industry experience (added advantage).

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach subjects related to the programmes including Economics, Front Office Management, Housekeeping Management, Technology for Hotel and Tourism Industry, Basic Accounts.
• Develop lesson plans to cover full course content.
• Deliver lessons using various teaching styles.
• Maintain student grade records and communicate with HODs and Exam Unit.
• Participate in MQA regulatory exercises and submit documentation on time.
• Engage in extracurricular activities such as convocations and student events.
• Assist in planning and executing new programmes, including English certifications and classes.
