Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and implementing new methods and technologies of teaching to reflect changes in research.
• Designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials.
• Delivering lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
• Assessing students' coursework.
• Setting, invigilating, and marking examinations.
• Supporting students through a pastoral and advisory role.
• Undertaking personal research projects and actively contributing to the institution's research profile.
• Writing up research and preparing it for publication.
• Supervising student research activities and internships.
• Undertaking Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and participating in staff training activities.
• Handling administrative tasks related to the department, such as student admissions, induction programs, involvement in committees and boards, and graduation ceremonies.
• Representing the institution at professional conferences and seminars, and contributing to organization efforts.
• Establishing collaborative links outside the institution with industrial, commercial, and public organizations.
• Participating in and assisting the sales and marketing departments in education fairs, roadshows, and other marketing activities.
• Conducting relevant consultancy and training for courses/programs and other related tasks worldwide.
• Developing, coordinating, and marketing maritime and related programs as determined by the organization.
• Undertaking other relevant tasks and responsibilities as directed by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least one of the following:
• Master's degree in Aviation Management or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field
• Diploma in Aviation Management or a related field
• Level 3 certificate in Aviation Management or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as Cabin Crew
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as Cabin Crew or in Aviation Management is required for Level 3 certificate holders.

• Required skills include: Teaching, Classroom Management, Time Management, Mentoring, and Computer Skills.
• Understanding MQA's documentation is a significant advantage.
• Ability to teach and collaborate effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
