The Opportunity

A Level-B academic is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the university,particularly at undergraduate and graduate diploma level and to carry out activities to develop her/hisscholarly, research and/or professional expertise relevant to the profession or discipline.

The academic will be responsible for teaching and administration of undergraduate, postgraduate andexecutive education programs in the area(s) of business law, corporate governance, ethics, and taxlaw within the School. The academic will also be responsible for undertaking activities that maintainand develop scholarly research and professional activities that are related to the discipline.

The role contributes primarily to teaching of business law, corporate governance, ethics, and tax lawunits at undergraduate and graduate levels, and conducting competitive industry-focused researchon business, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Reporting line: The position reports to Head of Department, Business Law and Taxation
