About The Role
Developing knowledge, skills and capability of staff to carry out their work tasks effectively through formulation of policies, strategies and frameworks, then implementing the learning programs with reviews and necessary actions on the learning outcomes. Managing the resources, budget, tools, documentation and systems while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance and high-quality learning experiences.
What You Will Do
- Develop suitable policies, processes and frameworks to gauge competencies, identify gaps and training needs and the delivery of learning and development solutions.
- Partner with the key stakeholders to formulate learning and development strategies based on business and individual needs.
- Lead the designing/sourcing, deployment and delivery of both in-house and third-party learning solutions across job functions and levels.
- Effectively manage the L&D budget and HRDC fund.
- Drive the Graduate Employment Program to establish a solid talent pipeline.
- Ensure compliance of L&D process and initiatives with the quality and statutory requirements.
- Lead L&D strategic projects to achieve predefined deliverables and KPI.
- Liaise with the Global Team and support the roll-out of corporate L&D programs.
- Develop metrics to evaluate L&D programs using trusted L&D methods, identify areas for improvement and drive gap closure through process and method enhancements.
- Guide and support internal trainers and mentors in the facilitation of in-house programs and inculcate a continuous learning culture in the organisation.
- Drive the company values through L&D initiatives.
- Monitor and enhance learning management systems (LMS) for effective and efficient course management and e-learning with the aim of developing highly skilled talents.
- Provide insightful data and reports to guide decision-making related to talent development.
- Ensure proper maintenance and archiving of training documentation and records.
What You Will Need
- A recognized Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or other equivalent qualification.
- At least five (5) years of related working experience in HR.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering and evaluating L&D interventions.
- Analytical skill to decipher complex data & develop pragmatic recommendations
- Facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Good presentation and communication skills, both written and spoken
