A Training Officer is responsible for identifying and providing training to internal customers to deliver an excellent staff experience, while working with and ensuring that all departments meet their training objectives.

What will I be doing?

As a Training Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing quality training to internal customers
  • Assisting in coordinating and administering Vocational Qualifications
  • Adhering to the in-house training plan
  • Identifying training and development needs throughout the hotel in collaboration with Line Managers, Department Heads, HR, and Training Managers
  • Supporting Line Managers in achieving training goals and conducting monthly reviews
  • Preparing, organizing, and conducting in-house training courses such as Recruitment and Selection, Discipline, and Grievance procedures
  • Ensuring new employees receive departmental and legal training
  • Holding monthly departmental meetings with trainers and interns to address training needs
