Are you the SE leader ready to embrace this move?

Reporting to our SE leader for Asia, you will be a highly motivated, results-oriented leader, primarily responsible for leading our SE team in support of the Sales Team in Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam. Your goal will be to achieve and exceed revenue targets and ensure customer success. You will take a leading technical role in your region, supporting sales activities, engaging with key customers and opportunities, and working cross-functionally to ensure alignment between field sales and other organizational units within Splunk.

Role:

  • Lead and motivate a team of Solutions Engineers across Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam to ensure sales success and customer satisfaction;
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to support use case development and pre-sales activities across all Splunk solutions;
  • Conduct pipeline recruiting efforts to hire top sales engineering talent within your region;
  • Mentor and coach new hires during onboarding and beyond to ensure effective skill development;
  • Ensure your team is enabled to support all necessary Splunk products and solutions, along with sales and soft skills;
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop country-level strategies and go-to-market plans aligned with regional objectives;
  • Represent and evangelize Splunk technology as the in-country 'CTO' to key customer and partner executives, managing executive relationships;
  • Deliver annual performance reviews, coach team members, and manage talent development to maintain a high-performing team;
  • Work cross-functionally with support, product management, engineering, customer success, and professional services to ensure alignment and address customer needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 10+ years of proven experience in technical selling and supporting software products to IT organizations;
  • At least 2-3+ years of leadership experience in managing Enterprise SE Teams; more experience may be considered for senior roles;
  • Experience with security and observability products and services;
  • Domain expertise in Security Operations, Modern Applications, and AI is advantageous;
  • Strong growth mindset and agility to adapt to change;
  • Desire to learn and continuously develop new skills and knowledge.

Education:

  • BS/BA Degree, preferably with a strong technical background or relevant work experience.
