Functional Responsibilities

Managing and supervising Technical Representatives in the Planning Department to oversee the entire process of aircraft hangar visits from start to finish at the MRO facilities, ensuring the highest quality and standards are complied with by the MRO provider whilst delivering serviceable aircraft as per schedule.

Functional Duties

1. Liaise with other CAMO Engineering departments to resolve issues and problems faced during aircraft visits at MRO such as spares, modification, repair schemes, etc.
2. Actively interact with MRO key personnel to get the latest developments of its capability and resources.
3. Attend meetings held by MRO such as pre-input, progress, and monthly KPI meetings. Provide feedback and highlight major concerns.
4. Update engineering departments on issues and problems faced at MRO during daily morning meetings.
5. Re-verify “over and above” work orders by MRO and give final approval for manhours incurred.
6. Break down and analyze data, identify weaknesses and anomalies provided by Operations. Propose recommendations to MRO to alleviate the issues and problems from the information.
7. Surveillance and observe check activities at MRO for their efficiency in utilizing manhours and materials.
8. Gather data and information as evidence in case of any conflicts or disputes.
9. Ensure the approved organization provides a high standard of maintenance practices and workshop support.
10. Handle the manpower (leave, duty roster) of Technical Representatives.
11. Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Planning Manager.
