About the role

Epsom International School is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Swim Coach to join our vibrant sports team. This is a full-time role based in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, where you will lead our swim programme and coach our talented student swimmers to reach their full potential.

What you'll be doing

1. Design and deliver comprehensive swim training programmes for students of all levels and abilities.
2. Coach and mentor our student swimmers, providing technical instruction and feedback to help them improve their skills and performance.
3. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our swim programme, including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe training environment.
4. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school administrators to provide regular updates on student progress and coordinate competitive events.
5. Identify and develop promising young swimmers, guiding them towards higher levels of competition.
6. Promote a positive and inclusive team culture, fostering sportsmanship and a love of swimming among our students.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience as a swim coach, with a proven track record of developing successful competitive swim teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of swimming techniques and training methods, with the ability to provide detailed, constructive feedback to swimmers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and abilities.
• A passion for coaching and a commitment to the holistic development of young athletes.
• Relevant coaching certifications and qualifications, such as UKCC Level 2 or equivalent.
• First aid and CPR certification, or the willingness to obtain them.
