Job summary

Great Eastern seeks an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud support professional to join our IT team in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on BAU and project support across Finance modules such as GL, AR, AP and FAH, and Procurement, ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.

You will work with users and IT partners, participate in SIT and UAT, and help document defects and changes using JIRA/HP ALM, in a collaborative, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• At least 10 years' experience as a software engineer in BAU and enhancements for Oracle Fusion Cloud/EBS
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Oracle Cloud certifications in ERP or Procurement
• Experience in software development, business analysis, test management, with some project management
• Experience with test automation and scripting
• Willingness to travel short duration to Singapore if required

Job description

We are looking for a candidate to be part of the Oracle Fusion Cloud support team. Candidate will be one of the key contact point for the Oracle Fusion Cloud technical support team for Finance [GL, AR, AP and FAH] and Procurement modules in providing the BAU support as well as project support.

• BAU (Business As Usual) and project support for Oracle Fusion Cloud/EBS (Finance and Procurement Modules)
• Managed and assess impact of the issues and enhancement requirements coming from the users or source systems IT teams
• Involvements in the SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) support
• Involvements in the technical discussion/solutioning with the users or source system IT support teams
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
• Follow through the resolution and/or establish resolution plan
• Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards and best practices. Establish good working relationships with peers and users
• Any other responsibilities that may be given by supervisor or manager

We are looking for people with

• Holds a tertiary education, preferably Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or similar qualifications
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• At least 10 years’ experience as software engineer in providing BAU and system enhancements support in the Oracle Fusion Cloud/EBS application
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Oracle Cloud certifications in ERP or Procurement
• Experience in the role of software developer, business analyst, test management with some project management experience
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting
• May be required to travel short duration into Singapore
