Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced backend engineering leader to mentor teams and own end-to-end solution development across frontend, backend, and API layers.

You will drive BSS architecture, product modeling, pricing configurations, and order orchestration, with hands-on work in Java/Go/Python/TypeScript and databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Experience with Kafka is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4 years of hands-on engineering experience in backend/microservices

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams while developing and owning scalable microservices across frontend, backend, and API layers
• Drive core BSS architecture, product modeling, pricing configurations, and order orchestration flows
• Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript with relational databases and Linux/Git environments

• Design and maintain event-driven systems using messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka) and build secure, high-performance, and scalable microservices.
