Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support daily site operations in Penang, Malaysia. The role involves coordinating with the Construction/Project Manager, preparing project documentation, and maintaining schedules.

The candidate should have a Civil/Structural degree, be proficient with engineering tools, and demonstrate strong leadership. Railway project exposure is an added advantage for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient with relevant engineering or project management tools.
• Strong leadership with ability to delegate, supervise and motivate site teams.
• Experience in railway projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with civil and structural works including piles, columns and piers.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Construction/Project Manager with daily site operations, coordination, and tracking project progress.
• Prepare and consolidate project documentation.
• Create and maintain work schedules.
• Monitor material usage to identify wastage and implement corrective measures.
• Liaise with Consultants, Subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical matters, review drawings, and ensure work complies with approved drawings and RFIs.
• Verify site progress, conduct joint measurements, and prepare claim-related documents for submission to Contracts Department.
