Job summary

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence in Malaysia is seeking a Lead ReactJS Developer to join an agile team. You will translate complex requirements for UK-based stakeholders and architect scalable front-end solutions using ReactJS, Typescript and Material UI.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery with mentoring and technical leadership. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of relevant experience, a degree in CS/IT/engineering, strong English communication, and a passion for UI quality and modern

Qualifications

Hands-on technical role with stakeholder management experience.
Strong FE focus: ReactJS, Typescript and Material UI required.
Knack for UI quality, visuals, layout and typography.
Backend experience with Java or Python is a plus; 8+ years preferred.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/engineering with CGPA 3.00+; strong English.

Responsibilities

Act as a technical consultant to UK-based stakeholders and translate requirements.
Design and implement responsive web interfaces using ReactJS and related tech.
Write clean, modular code with unit tests and best practices.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and development plans.
Support high level estimation and sprint planning in Agile.
Debug issues raised by clients and the test team for swift resolution.
