Project description

We require an experienced Murex MxML Developer responsible for working across our client base. Murex is a leading application in global trading, risk management, and trade processing, used across multiple asset classes, from Front to Risk to Back, in environments with multiple production systems and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Review existing active MT templates and suggest consolidation into MX format for all products and entities.
  • Perform gap analysis to understand current MT mappings and adapt them into MX format.
  • Enhance the Murex MX package with specific requirements or mappings for each template.
  • Develop new MX templates for message types not covered by the current package.
  • Create new ACK/NACK mappings to update payment flow statuses.
  • Automate MxML or Unix shell scripts for real-time interfaces.
  • Simplify workflows for MX message generation and ACK/NACK handling.
  • Eliminate redundant workflows not used by the system.
  • Transfer knowledge to existing EAD developers for future enhancements.
  • Prepare documentation and train support teams on common issues and new MX messages.
  • Provide post-live support and implement necessary enhancements or developments.

Skills

Must have

  • 12+ years of application development experience, preferably in banking or treasury sectors.
  • Experience with MX2.11 and MX3.1, including Front Office (FXMM, Fixed Income, Equities), Middle Office Risk (MLC, VaR, Market Data), and Back Office (MXML, workflows, interfaces, templates, data marts).
  • Strong error handling skills.
  • Deep knowledge of treasury products.
  • Proficiency in coding and programming.

  • Demonstrated ownership and responsibility in assignments.
