Job summary

Qualifications

• Upper Secondary School 3 as stated in the requirements.
• Practical experience applying journey-level skills in a maintenance craft.
• In-depth understanding of maintenance history of buildings, equipment and facilities.
• Expertise in diagnosis and emergency repairs.
• Ability to perform preventive and cost-efficient repairs.
• Ability to use shop machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to work across electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting and mill-wrighting crafts.
• Ability to lead less-skilled assistants and consult with engineers and vendors.
• Ability to follow mandatory health, safety, environmental, quality, operational, compliance and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair services across electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting and mill-wrighting crafts.
• Carry out maintenance tasks according to instructions and supervision.
• Operate and adjust various machines and equipment for efficiency.
• Assess compliance with established standards and protocols.
• Conduct quality sampling and inspections of products or processes.
• Follow health, safety, environmental, PPE, operational and regulatory procedures.
• Organize daily work schedules around changing priorities.
• Develop and maintain procedural and technical skills through training and development planning.
• Lead less-skilled assistants and consult with engineers and vendors.
