Job summary

Polymer Applications (M) Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor, is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to plan, coordinate and supervise daily site activities, ensuring projects meet schedule and quality requirements.

You will monitor progress, prepare reports, coordinate handovers and maintain client relationships while adhering to safety standards and company SOPs; travel across Malaysia is required. A Civil Engineering-related degree and at least 2 years of supervision experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of site supervision experience in construction, industrial flooring, concrete repair, waterproofing or related industries.
• Experience supervising multiple project sites simultaneously is preferred.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, site measurements and material planning.
• Familiar with site safety practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and perform well under tight project schedules.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving license, own transport and be willing to travel extensively throughout Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and basic reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure projects are completed according to schedule and quality requirements.
• Prepare, monitor and update project schedules, work progress and manpower allocation.
• Calculate material requirements based on project drawings, site measurements and approved specifications.
• Conduct site inspections before, during and after installation to ensure workmanship complies with company standards and client specifications.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations, company SOPs and site rules at all times.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, attendance records, material consumption records and photographic documentation.
• Coordinate project handover, punch list rectification and completion documentation.
• Supervise multiple projects across different locations when required.
• Maintain good working relationships with clients and represent the company professionally at all times.
