Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Mechanical Engineer for Kuala Lumpur Office with a strong background in Oil & Gas.

The role covers review and approval of mechanical designs and monitoring contractor activities to ensure compliance with COMPANY standards and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will lead or support pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design and field development studies, participate in HAZID/HAZOP and other technical reviews, and oversee QM/HSE aspects on site during EPCIC phases,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years' experience in the E&P industry as Lead Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
Experience in offshore projects (green and brown fields) from Concept Select/FEED to detailed engineering and topside facility design.

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical engineering input, review and approve, and monitor contractor designs for compliance with COMPANY and regulatory requirements.
Lead or support pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design and field development studies.
Review mechanical designs, drawings, calculations, reports and T&I procedures.
Participate in HAZID/HAZOP/JRA and other technical integrity reviews.
Coordinate with project engineer and contractors during the EPCIC phase.
Lead FAT/SAT and support fabrication, onshore pre-commissioning, offshore hook-up and commissioning.
