Job summary

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Malaysia is seeking a professional to manage the product life cycle for LED products, leveraging IC knowledge as an advantage. You will drive yield data analysis, set targets, and collaborate with process engineering and production teams to ensure performance improvements.

The role also involves updating BOMs, establishing new product derivatives, PFMEA, and supporting change projects.

Qualifications

Degree/Master in Material Eng/Mechanical Eng/electronics Eng/Physics/Manufacturing Eng.
Min 3 years of experience in LED Manufacturing / Semiconductors.
Experience in Product Engineering, Product Development or Product Characterization in LED manufacturing.
Fluency in Malay, Chinese, English and/or German is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage Product Life Cycle for LED products (with/without built-in IC).
Lead yield data analysis, set yield targets, forecast yield, and coordinate with Process Eng/Production teams for yield improvement.
Update/revise product BOM, set up new product 11series, PFMEA, product flow charts,‑and catalogues; support change projects.
Review PVDB changes, approve tests, monitor static distribution and drive for improvements.
