The Lead IT Business Analyst will collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical teams to ensure comprehensive requirement analysis, planning, and execution of functional and non-functional requirements, as well as supporting testing phases.

The Role:
  • Lead and manage Business Analyst resources in requirement analysis, prioritization, planning, and execution, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
  • Engage with business users to elicit detailed requirements and priorities.
  • Assess request complexity with technical teams and estimate effort for delivery.
  • Define scope and requirements with stakeholders, aligning with delivery timelines.
  • Deliver artefacts such as functional specifications, use cases, test plans, and support UAT and system integration testing.
  • Coordinate and support functional and system testing activities.
  • Manage defect resolution processes to ensure timely closure.
  • Consider business and regulatory compliance risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to enhance risk management.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and best practices.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required.
The Person:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Insurance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Life Insurance industry.
  • Proven leadership in managing Business Analysts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and domain knowledge in insurance.
  • Excellent planning, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills, with hands-on experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst.
  • Self-motivated, resilient under pressure, with a positive attitude.
  • High integrity, accountability, and initiative to improve processes and embrace change.
