Job summary

AIA Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior Internal Audit leader to drive independent assurance for the Business Operations & Distribution portfolio. You will support the Head of Internal Audit in maintaining an effective audit universe, plan, and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

Responsibilities include leading audit teams, ensuring quality, and delivering timely insights for management. Strong leadership, risk-based thinking and regulatory awareness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management or related discipline.
• CIA, CPA, ACCA, CA or other relevant professional qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit teams across the audit lifecycle in accordance with professional standards.
• Maintain oversight of audit quality, scepticism and consistency across engagements.
• Review audit observations and reports to ensure evidence-based findings.
• Engage with management on audit findings, root causes and remediation plans.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery within budgets.
• Provide independent challenge and insights to management and leadership.
