Primary Duties & Responsibilities
IE Standards - 20%
  • Establish IE standard processes and guide the team to comply with them. Develop and maintain IE standards, including standard production capacity, standard working hours, and standard manpower calculation systems, etc
  • Lead the IE group to realize IE department goals.
  • Train, develop, and guide subordinates.
  • Identify areas for improvement and lead improvement projects.
Space & Layout Management - 10%
  • Plan factory layout, optimize production material/people flow, and improve space utilization.
  • Manage factory space and space utilization.
  • Optimize factory layout and manufacturing processes to improve performance.
Manufacturing Budget Plan & Cost Reduction - 35%
  • Develop manufacturing budgets, review product standard costs, monitor, analyze, and continuously reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Break down quarterly/monthly cost management targets, analyze and continuously reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Compare actual costs with budgets to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Review manufacturing CAPEX budget plans and actual implementation.
  • Coordinate cost reduction program.
Operations Management System (IT-enabled system) Improvement - 25%
  • Work with personnel from various teams to develop IT-enabled systems to improve work efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for factory operations and continuously improve the operations reporting system. (Report automation)
  • Review and approve document releases in the configuration management system.
Special Assignments - 10%
  • Support special projects as required.
  • Report on projects and make recommendations to upper Management.

Job Requirements
  • MS degree in Industrial Engineering or mechanical engineering. Advanced educational qualifications will be a plus. Candidates having suitable professional experience with a BS degree will be considered.
  • >>8 years or above IE/Lean manufacturing management experiences in multinational companies. Project management experience will be a plus.
  • IE/Lean manufacturing experiences in the manufacturing industry.
  • Conversant with manufacturing cost analysis and reduction, cost mindset.
  • Project management experiences.
  • AutoCAD, MS office software.
  • Effective communication skills. Adaptability, Customer Focus, Innovation, Planning and Organizing, Problem Solving, Decision Making and Continuous Improvement, Professional and Technical Knowledge and Skills, Reliable and Dependable, Results Oriented, Teamwork and Positive Relationships, Work Standards/Quality/ Details.
