Job summary

The Lead Engineer, Hardware Design at Celestica Penang leads cross-functional teams to develop robust hardware products, incorporating feedback from manufacturing, testing, reliability and supply chain. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of related engineering experience, preferably in hardware design.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement hardware solutions within engineering projects.
• Review customer docs, perform research and experiments with minimal guidance.
• Create technical proposals with timelines.
• Draw up system plans and schematics; ensure Celestica standards.
• Support manufacturing process and liaison with suppliers and customers.
• Keep up to date with industry knowledge and regulations.
