Job summary

Randstad – Renesas in Malaysia seeks a senior semiconductor test engineer to develop test solutions for GaN and silicon devices. You will create and refine test programs on discrete testers and mixed-signal ATE platforms, and lead the transition of legacy systems to newer technology nodes.

You will also design test hardware, define requirements, and support NPI through validation, release and yield ramp activities, while sustaining production tests and driving efficiency across multiple

Qualifications

5–12+ years in semiconductor test engineering (BS or MS).
Hands-on wafer sort and final test experience.
Programming background in C++, VBA or similar.

Responsibilities

Develop cost-effective, high-efficiency test solutions for GaN and silicon devices.
Create, debug, and release test programs on discrete testers and ATE platforms.
Lead transition of legacy platforms to new technology nodes.
Design and review test interface hardware with external vendors.
Define test hardware requirements from device specs and data.
Support NPI through validation, release and yield ramp activities.
Provide sustaining support for production tests and platforms.
Lead platform conversions and drive efficiency across ATE systems.
Collaborate with design, product, reliability, test and operations teams.
