About the job

Projects

• Contributing to 2 major projects in Q4 2024 that will streamline a new business revenue and the biggest partnership yet with a super high profile company in KL

Responsibilities

• Building out newly launched modules (early work has been done) and developing extended features on top of existing ones
• Contributing to resolving technical debts
• Coaching senior and mid-level engineers after the first 6 months of joining

Team

• Reporting to the CTO who has promoted internally, working alongside 2 lead engineers (web and mobile) while joining a wider KL engineering team of 12
• All engineering works are based from the KL tech hub that supports across SEA

Culture

• This role would suit someone who enjoys building new things and has been in pioneer teams, start-ups, or scale-ups before
• Someone who is able to learn fast and work fast, constantly trying out new ways to achieve positive results while integrating them well into established SOPs

Must Have

• NodeJs and React
• Stronger on BE engineering with intermediate DevOps experience
• Experience working on cloud - Azure / GCP / AWS
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

Nice to have

• Confident in frontend web/mobile development

Level / Grade

• Senior Individual contributor role (hands-on 50 to 70% of the time) who can lead technical solutions and uplift teamwork and performance
