About the job Lead Frontend Engineer: Vue.js Vue 3

Project:

• Enhancing the core product suite and localization for new markets
• Revamp on legacy codebase based on new requirements from product team
• ERM - A simple enterprise solution to manage workflow, resource planning & billing
• Teacher Portal: Everything digital - from lesson plans to attendance records
• Parents App: Track progress, check reports, communicate with teachers

Responsibilities:

• Lead and set FE technical direction - advise on the architecture design, scope and resources required for new product ideas & features
• Ensure best practices including code quality, stability, maintainability, readability, and performance

Team and Culture:

• The engineering team consists of 20 members - Malaysia is the newest engineering hub with other existing engineers based in SG, ID, and VT
• Reporting to the Engineering Manager in KL - he has worked for VC-backed startups

Must Have:

• Vue3
• Exposure to a startup/scale-up/fast-changing environment
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• A pragmatic over dogmatic approach is preferable when dealing with technical issues
• 5-8 years of Frontend experience (2+ years of Vue.js)
• 2 to 3+ years of leadership/people management experience

Location:

• Hybrid - 3 days a week in KL office (flexible for KL engineering team)
• Office located in Platinum Sentral - accessible via MRT
