Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Security Solution Enablement Engineer in Penang, Malaysia. You will drive customer adoption of Lattice security and RoT solutions, bridging customers with Field Applications Engineering and product teams.

You will lead enablement efforts, create reference designs and collateral, and mentor engineers in FPGA security applications. The role requires strong FPGA knowledge, embedded firmware skills, and experience with cryptography, secure boot, and PKI.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of security fundamentals (authentication, encryption, signatures, hashing, key management)
• Understanding of PKI, hardware Root-of-Trust, PQC
• Extensive FPGA architecture, configuration, and development flows
• Experience with RTL design and debugging in Verilog/VHDL
• Proficient C/C++ for embedded firmware
• Experience integrating embedded processors with PL
• Experience with hardware interfaces (JTAG, SPI, I2C, UART)
• Ability to produce technical collateral and customer-facing docs
• Experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions
• Background in hardware security or secure embedded systems is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead enablement activities for FPGA-based security solutions from evaluation to deployment
• Act as technical lead for complex customer security applications and provide architecture guidance
• Develop reference designs, user guides, and application notes
• Create and lead technical training, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions
• Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Support to translate field feedback into improvements
• Support new product introductions with collateral and enablement content
