Job Description

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the global finance organization in the monthly close process.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and adjust discrepancies.
• Prepare corporate and other allocations for distribution to global entities.
• Prepare and reconcile accrual entries.
• Record lease-related entries.
• Collaborate with the Global Credit team in Ipoh, MY, to prepare trade receivables and subcontractor receivables reconciliations.
• Reclassify credit balances at the customer level in receivables.
• Review bad debt allowance calculations and prepare related entries.
• Maintain the intangible assets ledger and amortization system.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc journal entries for monthly closing.
• Reconcile sub-ledger with the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure correctness.
• Create ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by Corporate.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or a Professional Certification equivalent.
• Preferred 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Effective communication skills with international partners.
• Experience with ERP software; Oracle E-Business Suite preferred.
