Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer – Secondary Systems, SCADA & Grid Compliance to direct the full lifecycle of design, integration, testing and commissioning of secondary electrical systems for renewable assets. The role requires HQ-based work with travel to project sites.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control Engineering with 12+ years of relevant EPC or utility experience, and PE registration is advantageous for regulatory coordination and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Control Engineering required.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in EPC or power utilities.
• Active PE registration (practicing certificate) is advantageous.
• Experience with national utility frameworks and grid codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of secondary electrical systems (P&C, SCADA, EMS).
• Drive Grid Compliance Test planning and liaison with grid operators.
• Oversee FATs/SATs and protection testing across projects.
• Review protection schematics, relay settings, and I/O lists.
