Job summary

Aurora Talent is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in Selangor, Malaysia. The role focuses on design, configuration, and delivery of industrial power supply systems for regional and international projects, ensuring reliability and compliance.

You will lead technical design, develop tailored solutions, prepare documentation, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and timely handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering within industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience power supply system design or similar power electronics systems.
• Experience working on complex, multi-discipline engineering projects.
• Familiarity with electrical drafting and design tools (EPLAN preferred).
• Strong understanding of industrial power systems and protection concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the technical design and engineering definition of industrial power backup systems from project handover through to final delivery.
• Develop tailored engineering solutions based on customer specifications, ensuring technical compliance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
• Interpret client requirements and translate them into detailed engineering configurations and system architectures.
• Prepare complete technical documentation including system design files, engineering calculations, equipment lists, and project-specific deliverables.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with external vendors and suppliers for component selection and procurement alignment.
• Support project execution by ensuring engineering milestones are met in accordance with project schedules.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Review and respond to technical clarifications, change requests, and customer engineering feedback.
