Job summary

TE Connectivity Operations Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a highly skilled BO Chargeman to oversee safe operation, switching, inspection, isolation, and maintenance coordination of HT/LV electrical installations.

The role ensures regulatory compliance and effective hazard management across the facility. The candidate will supervise electrical contractors, participate in risk assessments, and uphold LOTO and PTW requirements, while maintaining comprehensive records and supporting emergency response

Qualifications

Valid BO Chargeman competency/license appropriate to electrical installation and scope.
Strong experience in industrial HT/LV electrical systems.
Experience operating and maintaining electrical switchgear and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for safe operation of HT/LV electrical installations within the authorized competency.
Operate and monitor HT switchgear, LV switchboards, transformers, protection relays, and distribution systems.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and testing according to approved schedules.
Respond to electrical trips and power outages and coordinate isolation when required.
Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory compliance and incident reporting.
