Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Lead Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical discipline for FPSO surface facility projects in an EPC environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience, with a strong background in full-cycle FPSO projects from FEED through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and offshore integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the electrical engineering scope for FPSO surface facilities throughout the EPC lifecycle.
- Oversee the development of electrical deliverables including power generation and distribution systems, load lists, single-line diagrams, cable routing, and hazardous area classification.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, API, ABS, DNV) and client specifications.
- Coordinate with multi-discipline teams (process, mechanical, instrumentation, structural) to ensure integrated and optimized designs.
- Interface with clients, vendors, and classification societies to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Lead technical reviews, HAZOPs, FATs, and participate in constructability and operability assessments.
- Provide technical leadership during procurement, including vendor selection, technical bid evaluations, and document reviews.
- Support construction and commissioning teams with technical guidance, site queries, and punch list resolution.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality and consistency across all electrical deliverables.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs within budget and schedule.

Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, with significant experience in FPSO EPC projects.
- Proven leadership in delivering full-cycle offshore projects, including topside integration and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of offshore electrical systems including power generation, MCCs, UPS, ESD systems, and Ex-rated equipment.
- Proficient in engineering tools such as ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, SmartPlant Electrical, and Navisworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
