Lead, DevOps Manager

The Lead, DevOps Manager shall drive the implementation of the digitalization strategy for Group Technology and Networks. This strategy aims to loosen the IT architecture, increase organizational agility, and enable an API-driven digital ecosystem for our network capabilities. His/her main responsibility is to lead and deliver the strategic vision of Network As A Service (NaaS), including key building blocks such as Network Service Bus, Service Orchestration, and Service Assurance initiatives.

Make an Impact by:

1. Defining the technical architecture for the key components in NaaS in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture team.
2. Overseeing compliance to meet high availability, performance, and security requirements.
3. Identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement, and architecture simplification.
4. Researching and exploring new technologies in software development, automation, cybersecurity, and cloud computing for continuous platform improvement.
5. Managing and aligning teams and stakeholders, including top management, to ensure delivery of NaaS components.
6. Working closely with the business to gather and prioritize requirements.
7. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions consider user experience, scalability, security, and operability.
8. Managing project steering committees and other project activities such as budgeting and procurement.
9. Overseeing operational service management for NaaS components in production, ensuring reliability and SLA adherence.
10. Managing change management processes, including automation of software releases.
11. Leading incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, including cybersecurity incidents and patch management.
12. Participating in Annual Operating Planning (AOP) and strategic initiatives for the division and Group Networks.

Skills for Success:

1. Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline.
2. 7-10 years of experience managing software delivery teams for large-scale digital transformation projects.
3. Experience leading Agile projects as a Product Owner, with familiarity in SCRUM/KANBAN and tools like JIRA.
4. Experience in project planning, management, and procurement activities.
5. Proficiency in business requirements analysis and translation to technical teams.
6. Good knowledge of cloud computing and container management (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, etc.).
7. Knowledge of software development and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.).
