Job summary

Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor, Malaysia seeks a Senior CNC Mechanical Design Engineer. You will lead the design and development of CNC machines and automated equipment, developing structure concepts and optimization plans for improved performance.

Collaborate across production, process, electrical, and service teams to resolve issues, review drawings and BOMs, and drive design standardization for efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in CNC machine or automation equipment mechanical design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, UG NX or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine structures and machining processes.
• Ability to independently lead technical projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of CNC machines and automation equipment.
• Develop overall machine structure concepts, technical solutions, and optimization plans.
• Design key mechanical components, including transmission systems and spindle structures.
• Participate in new product development, machine upgrades, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Improve machine stability, precision, and production efficiency.
• Review mechanical drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with production, process, electrical, and service teams to resolve issues.
• Provide technical support and communication for customers and project teams.
• Establish and improve mechanical design standards and engineering procedures.
