Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Senai, Johor to design and develop mechanical structures for CNC machine tools, including VMC and gantry centers. You will prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, and BOMs while supporting production and customer needs.

Fresh graduates or 1–2 years CNC design experience are welcome. Training in China is required, with travel to Southeast Asia as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related fields; fresh graduates welcome or 1-2 years CNC design experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design, tolerances, fits, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
Proficient in 3D CAD, 2D drafting, and BOM preparation.
Good understanding of machining, manufacturing, and design for manufacturability.
Good English & Mandarin communication skills; willingness to travel to China for training.

Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical structures and components for CNC machine tools, particularly VMC and gantry machines.
Prepare 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
Support the Malaysia factory with mechanical engineering, production, assembly, and troubleshooting issues.
Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support to customers across Southeast Asia.
Work closely with China-based engineering teams and other internal departments.
