Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced Security Consultant to help customers and partners develop security expertise and capacity, and to lead key engagements. You will design and implement secure AWS solutions, mentor teams, and drive security risk management across large-scale cloud deployments in Malaysia.

This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with partners, and hands-on security engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, or Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of customer-facing, large-scale project management experience.
• 2+ years hands-on infrastructure, troubleshooting, networking, DevOps or applications development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical leader for customer engagements, leading security workstreams.
• Design and implement secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Lead internal security initiatives and build relationships with security leaders.
• Enable and engage delivery partners to support secure project delivery.
• Provide mentorship to develop others in cloud security and risk management.
