A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a Lead Business Analyst - Data Process Lead to spearhead the development and implementation of robust data management processes. This role is integral to optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing risk controls, and advancing data governance and integration frameworks.

Position Objectives
The Lead Business Analyst - Data Process Lead will be at the forefront of driving improvements in how investment-related data is managed, integrated, and delivered. Collaborating with diverse teams across investment operations, data providers, and internal business functions, this role will involve mapping current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing future-forward data management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document existing data processes, workflows, and system interactions across various functions.
- Design and propose best-practice frameworks for data integration, validation, and governance to align with organizational goals.
- Develop process documentation, data lineage diagrams, and operational guides for cross-functional clarity.
- Identify critical data elements (e.g., portfolio metrics, financial valuations) and establish rigorous sourcing and validation controls.
- Partner with internal teams to implement scalable, governed, and future-ready data solutions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational data governance standards and industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality and timeliness of key data outputs to support decision-making.
- Proactively drive process improvements and enhanced data governance through continuous feedback and collaboration.
- Comprehensive mapping of end-to-end data flows and dependencies.
- Development of future-state operating models for data management and integration.
- Establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) and audit controls for data accuracy.
- Coordination with external data providers and internal teams to align on data standards and reporting requirements.
- Creation of dashboards or reporting tools to track and monitor data efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- 5-8 years of experience in business analysis or data management, ideally within investment operations or financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, investment operations, and associated data workflows (e.g., portfolio data, pricing, valuations).
- Proven track record in redesigning and optimizing data processes for scalability and governance.
- Experience collaborating with external providers (e.g., fund managers, custodians, third-party systems) and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to document and present complex processes clearly.
- Familiarity with data governance principles, control frameworks, and ownership models.
- Exposure to financial systems or tools (e.g., portfolio accounting systems, market data platforms) is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of financial products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, or structured instruments is a plus.
- Experience working within global or multinational organizations is preferred.
