Job summary

Bybit Limited in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior Java engineer to join our crypto platform. You will participate in integrating new blockchain networks supporting deposits and withdrawals, and contribute to custody system requirements.

You will perform requirements analysis, system design, development, testing and deployment, delivering high-quality engineering work while writing clear technical docs; collaborate in a fast-paced, global team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java development experience in a computer science or related field.
• Solid Java fundamentals and good coding practices.
• Proficient with Git, Maven, and Linux.
• Familiar with distributed system design; proficient with middleware including MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
• Strong sense of responsibility, curious mindset and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the integration of new blockchain networks to support deposit and withdrawal operations for exchanges or Web3 platforms.
• Participate in the development of custody business requirements.
• Participate in business requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and deployment; deliver high-quality engineering work.
• Write technical and system documentation to ensure code maintainability and team collaboration efficiency

Responsibilities:

Participate in the integration of new blockchain networks to support deposit and withdrawal operations for exchanges or Web3 platforms

Participate in the development of custody business requirements

Participate in business requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and deployment; deliver high-quality engineering work

Write technical and system documentation to ensure code maintainability and team collaboration efficiency

Requirements:

5+ years of Java development experience in a computer science or related field

Solid Java fundamentals, good coding practices, and strong programming skills; familiar with mainstream open-source frameworks and components with a solid depth of understanding

Proficient with everyday tools including Git, Maven, and Linux

Familiar with distributed system design; proficient with mainstream middleware including MySQL, Redis, and MQ (e.g., Kafka)

Strong sense of responsibility, clear logical thinking, curious and research-oriented mindset, strong learning ability, and a collaborative team spirit
