Job summary

Razer Software Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a lead backend developer to drive the modernization of the Razer Gold backend system. You'll collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of experience in core system design and a solid understanding of Java, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services like AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in e-commerce Java-based core system design and implementation.
• Experience building highly scalable, highly available online systems.
• Solid hands-on experience in JVM tuning and heap dump analysis.
• Good understanding of garbage collectors and Java profiling.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud service, especially AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall backend system development and play a key role in Razer Gold Engineering team.
• Report to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering and collaborate with other engineering functions.
• Proactively drive design and implementation of the Razer Gold core backend system.
• Engage with product and partner teams for business and technical requirements.
• Build high-quality code with unit tests and automation tests.
