Emerson is seeking an experienced data governance professional to ensure Salesforce Data Cloud quality, privacy, and compliance across the enterprise. You will define standards, lead data stewardship, and collaborate across Security, Legal, and IT to align data practices with policy requirements.
The role emphasizes governance, data quality, and MDM with a focus on data streams, identity resolution, and source-of-truth alignment across ERP and integrations.
Drive data compliance, quality, and integrity across the Emerson enterprise Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce core clouds and Salesforce Data Cloud
Define, document, and enforce data privacy, retention, masking, handling, security, and regulatory compliance standards for Salesforce data
Establish enterprise data quality rules, deduplication logic, enrichment standards, exception handling, and issue remediation processes
Develop data health metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting that show quality trends, priority issues, ownership, and remediation progress
Coordinate with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Architecture teams to ensure Salesforce data practices align with Emerson enterprise policies and regulatory expectations
Manage Data Cloud governance practices related to data streams, identity resolution, profile unification, segmentation readiness, calculated insights, and data activation controls
Partner with Integration, MDM, ERP, and enterprise data teams to align Salesforce data flows, transformations, source-of-truth definitions, and synchronization expectations
Define Data Cloud operating standards for data ingestion, mapping, consent/privacy considerations, identity rules, retention, data access, and monitoring
Collaborate with AI Agentforce leadership to ensure AI use cases are grounded in accurate, permission-aware, compliant, and fit-for-purpose data
Partner with Salesforce Data Stewards to define ownership, data standards, naming conventions, field governance, quality thresholds, and stewardship operating rhythms
Support data migration, cleansing, enrichment, and validation activities across implementation waves and continuous improvement cycles
